Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of applied Python development experience in enterprise-grade environments.
- Strong experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with high reliability requirements.
- Hands-on experience with relational database systems like Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase (query tuning and schema design).
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in system design, application development, automated testing, and operational support.
- Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computational efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience debugging and maintaining complex production applications.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, resiliency patterns, and secure coding standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and build complex enterprise-grade applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms.
- Deliver robust, secure, and high-performance Python systems for distributed, mission-critical production environments.
- Partner with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Analyze and identify root causes for complex production issues.
- Proactively improve engineering standards and practices across the team.
