Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development or a similar role.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Proven experience building backend systems with AWS Lambda and API services.
- Experience with AWS Glue and building ETL pipelines.
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases including Redshift, Aurora, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience working with healthcare claims data (HL7, Medical Claims, Rx Claims).
- Experience writing stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable internal applications using AWS, Python, and SQL.
- Build serverless functions and microservices to support application features and data workflows.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue to ingest and enrich data.
- Optimize cloud-native databases including Redshift, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Ensure backend services adhere to industry standards and regulatory compliance such as HIPAA.
- Implement DevOps CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to translate requirements into efficient solutions.
