Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- 5+ years of experience providing necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for clinical site contracting.
- Detailed understanding of contract law principles (business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp laws).
- Proven ability to effectively negotiate investigator grant budgets.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical product development process and CRO involvement.
- Proficiency in English and local language (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated experience in independently training and mentoring staff.
- Ability to effectively use automated systems and computerized applications.
- Strong problem-solving and risk analysis skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites.
- Negotiate investigator grant budgets, contractual terms, and conditions within approved parameters.
- Identify and assess legal, financial, and operational risks, escalating issues as necessary.
- Coordinate with internal functional departments to align site startup activities and contract negotiation with site activation timelines.
- Achieve target cycle times for site activations.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior staff.
- Participate in country process improvement initiatives and act as a subject matter expert for contract training materials.
- Perform quality reviews and peer feedback.
