Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management.
- 12 years of related experience, with 5 years in CRO/Pharmaceutical or sales environments.
- Proven track record working with mid-level and high-level contacts.
- Thorough understanding of drug discovery, development, and commercialization principles.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing and interpreting customer business data.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable legislation.
- Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified customer accounts.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and develop in-depth knowledge of customer organizations.
- Analyze potential opportunities and develop sales plans for target accounts.
- Work with operations and functional managers to identify sales teams and lead sales presentations.
- Handle follow-up related to sales and drive completion of contractual documents.
- Record all customer sales-related activities in the CRM system.
