Job Details

Proven experience in fundraising, including donor relations and establishing revenue streams.
Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, and reporting.
Experience in grassroots organizing, training, motivating volunteer teams, and coalition building.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategic plans and facilitate organizational goal-setting.
Experience in organizational conflict resolution and supporting diverse teams.
Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
Commitment to environmental, racial, economic, and gender justice.
Availability for evening and weekend work as required.
Proficiency with Google Suite, Salesforce, and online database/productivity tools.
Non-profit management or Board experience is a plus.
Experience in climate/environmental policy and state/federal legislative processes is a plus.

Lead fundraising initiatives including solicitation of high-net-worth individuals and direct mail strategies.
Manage state-based staff and oversee volunteer recruitment, leadership development, and strategic organizing.
Facilitate the development of long-term strategic, programmatic, and financial goals in coordination with the Executive Committee.
Oversee media and public relations strategies and manage digital communications.
Engage in coalition-building and represent the Chapter to community leaders, elected officials, and external organizations.
Develop and track the annual budget in partnership with the Chapter Treasurer and Executive Committee.
Ensure organizational compliance with Sierra Club policies and applicable local, state, and national laws.
