- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8 or more years of related Civil Engineering experience.
- Must be a registered professional.
- At least four years of experience supervising technical personnel.
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, and erosion control.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D.
- Experience with regulatory approvals.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding client expectations through technical design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid decision-making skills and ability to generate innovative solutions.
- Ability to travel for in-office activities, client and site visits as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale project design by serving as a technical lead for complex assignments.
- Manage design projects from initial design to project completion.
- Execute high-level analysis and review of project documents for compliance with standards, codes, and regulations.
- Monitor engineering processes and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement standards and guidelines for engineering activities.
- Elevate team technical expertise through design training and mentoring.
- Provide leadership and direction regarding the organization of technical resources.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure technical aspects are completed on time and within budget.
