Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Previous Specialty Pharmacy trade experience at a larger organization is preferred.
  • Experience with account management and internal stakeholder collaboration is preferred.
  • Computer literacy: Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional literature and technical procedures.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to interpret and make inferences from data.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel consistently for QBRs, implementations, pharma partner meetings, and other business engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, develop, and manage therapy/service programs for designated pharma partners and/or therapy classes.
  • Manage therapy performance and manufacturer KPIs while documenting communications and resolving escalated issues.
  • Develop and manage relationships across assigned manufacturer organizations to grow business partnerships.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement custom programs and new specialty pharmacy product launches, including designing clinical and operational processes.
  • Educate healthcare staff to ensure readiness for new product or service launches.
  • Oversee trade contract deliverables, including data reporting and issue resolution.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with manufacturers.
  • Assess and improve clinical and operational processes within the Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Prepare performance reports detailing financial and operational outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage strategically important internal and manufacturer projects.
