Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in payroll administration.
- Extensive, hands-on knowledge of ADP (Workforce Now preferred).
- Proven experience designing payroll processes and setting up systems in high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive, builder mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation is a significant plus.
- Experience in SaaS or high-growth tech industries (preferred).
- Experience with NetSuite ERP integration (preferred).
- Public company or IPO-readiness experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage full-cycle domestic payroll processing with expert-level precision using ADP.
- Direct all payroll tax and compliance efforts, including multi-state registrations and tax notice resolution.
- Design, optimize, and implement scalable standard operating procedures for payroll workflows.
- Strategically identify and deploy AI-driven tools to automate data validation and streamline payroll tasks.
- Lead the payroll function as an internal advisory service resolving complex payroll and tax queries.
- Serve as the primary business owner for ADP and integrated HRIS tools, leading audits and configurations.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and GL teams to ensure accurate data flow and regulatory reporting.
