Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in pricing, monetization, or commercial strategy in B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience leading a major pricing model transition (e.g., subscription to consumption, seat-based to usage-based).
- Hands-on experience designing and rolling out consumption-based or AI-native pricing at a company exceeding $100M ARR.
- Experience managing pricing for both self-serve/PLG and enterprise sales-led motions.
- Deep analytical skills including modeling unit economics, cost-to-serve, gross margin, and elasticity.
- Technical understanding of billing functions including event metering, rating, entitlements, and revenue recognition.
- Ability to design packaging frameworks and decision tools for independent use by product teams.
- Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Finance, Sales, and Engineering.
- Ability to operate as an individual contributor owning global, high-stakes pricing topics.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the analytical model connecting unit economics, agent run cost, willingness-to-pay, gross margin, and customer value.
- Maintain competitive and market intelligence to ensure pricing remains current.
- Design and execute pricing experiments, documenting and sharing reusable learnings.
- Shape plan design and packaging across community, self-serve, and Enterprise tiers.
- Develop pricing frameworks and decision tools for product teams to launch new features.
- Lead cross-functional alignment on pricing decisions across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data.
- Own the end-to-end rollout of major pricing changes from strategy to measured impact.
