Requirements
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Must be licensed in South Carolina.
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Eligible to practice telemedicine in licensed states.
- Prior telehealth experience preferred.
- Licensed in multiple U.S. states is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health.
- Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills.
- Professional-level English communication skills.
- Availability to work U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations (synchronous and asynchronous).
- Review patient intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results.
- Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate.
- Provide ongoing clinical oversight, follow-ups, and adjustments as needed.
- Document all encounters, decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support patient adherence and outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards.
