- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- Active board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency.
- Active medical licenses in at least one of CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses.
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states strongly preferred.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements for physician collaboration.
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with adaptability to AI-driven tools.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients.
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions.
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Handle referrals and prior authorizations.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, and mentorship.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
