Requirements
- Extensive Client Services experience within a medical communications agency.
- Significant experience supporting Publications accounts.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior pharmaceutical clients.
- Lead complex, integrated scientific communications programs.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (budgets, forecasting, profitability).
- Experience driving organic account growth.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing Client Services teams.
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary functions.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting business development activities, including proposals and pitches.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of a key client account delivering integrated Publications programs.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and confidently navigating complex business conversations.
- Partner with Scientific Services, Editorial, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams to develop and deliver high-quality scientific communications aligned with client objectives.
- Oversee account financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, profitability, resource planning, and identifying opportunities for organic growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop Client Services team members, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, improving delivery processes, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across the account.
- Support business development through proposals, strategic planning, and identifying opportunities to expand the client partnership.
