Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is required; a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy is preferred.
- At least 7 years of related professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing people, processes, or projects.
- Active pharmacist licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within pharmacy practice, clinical programs, or healthcare operations.
- Strong mentoring and people-development capabilities.
- Experience overseeing pharmacy operations, quality initiatives, and performance improvement.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and operational metrics.
- Ability to analyze medication utilization, costs, and trends.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and healthcare policy requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oversight and accountability for pharmacy practice, medication-use processes, and transitions of care across assigned areas.
- Lead, mentor, motivate, and develop pharmacy leaders and staff while fostering strong engagement and professional growth.
- Evaluate existing pharmacy practices and lead the development and implementation of new clinical programs and services.
- Analyze medication utilization, costs, and trends and collaborate with medical staff to address medication management opportunities.
- Maintain financial accountability, including budgeting, business planning, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and federal requirements through policy development and auditing.
- Provide clinical oversight for the Specialty Patient Management Program.
