Requirements
- 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Familiarity with distributed systems principles.
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Proficiency in navigating large codebases and performing effective code reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Break down complex projects into individual tasks and deliver in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and trade-offs.
- Support the operations and availability of team artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics.
- Engage in on-call efforts and 'keep the lights on' activities.
- Contribute to team growth through activities such as participating in the interview process.
