Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in a clinical field.
- Active, full clinical license (Psychologist or Master’s level therapist).
- 2+ years of post-Master’s clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Experience utilizing other evidence-based therapies.
- Experience working with patients in crisis.
- Prior experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient, or residential settings.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and program appropriateness.
- Utilize evidence-based therapies including CBT and DBT.
- Oversee initial and continuing insurance requirements for patients.
- Conduct individual therapy sessions to assess progress and guide treatment planning.
- Coordinate care with the patient's individual providers to ensure continuity.
- Assess patient progress and determine discharge or need for higher levels of care.
- Communicate with family members or support systems as necessary.
- Chart clinical activity in electronic medical records.
- Engage in crisis management.
- Provide group therapy as needed.
