Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-3 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or analytics.
- Freight/logistics/3PL experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling.
- SQL or BI tool experience (Power BI/Tableau) an asset.
- Familiarity with TMS platforms (McLeod, Trimble, MercuryGate, etc.).
- Familiarity with freight market data sources (DAT, SONAR).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to translate data into clear pricing recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to spot freight quote requests across FTL and cross-border lanes.
- Build competitive spot rates using market data, historical performance, and carrier cost inputs.
- Develop and maintain contract rate structures, including base rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorials.
- Partner with Sales and Carrier Sourcing to build pricing proposals for RFPs and bids.
- Model margin impact of contract terms and track profitability against targets.
- Monitor margin performance and surfacing trends to leadership.
- Maintain pricing benchmarks and rate cards in TMS and Excel.
