Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, writing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in writing and managing foundation grant proposals and reports.
- Experience writing grant proposals in the $50,000 to $1,000,000+ range.
- Proven ability to build and sustain institutional fundraising infrastructure and systems.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Experience supervising staff and supporting professional growth.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities with a focus on mission-driven narratives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead grant writer, drafting and submitting proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports.
- Translate organizational programs and impact into compelling narratives for foundation partners.
- Manage the comprehensive grants calendar and maintain clear internal workflows.
- Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership staff to gather outcomes data and financial information.
- Supervise the Donor Communications Manager and ensure alignment across donor messaging and grant deliverables.
- Manage a small portfolio of national foundation partners and coordinate stewardship activities.
