Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, writing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in writing and managing foundation grant proposals and reports.
  • Experience writing grant proposals in the $50,000 to $1,000,000+ range.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain institutional fundraising infrastructure and systems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting professional growth.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities with a focus on mission-driven narratives.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to Repair the World’s mission and Jewish service values.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead grant writer, drafting and submitting proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports.
  • Translate organizational programs and impact into compelling narratives for foundation partners.
  • Manage the comprehensive grants calendar and maintain clear internal workflows.
  • Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership staff to gather outcomes data and financial information.
  • Supervise the Donor Communications Manager and ensure alignment across donor messaging and grant deliverables.
  • Manage a small portfolio of national foundation partners and coordinate stewardship activities.
