Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, finance, urban studies, or equivalent qualifying experience.
- 5 years of business development experience selling commercial real estate loan products.
- Well-established network of real estate brokers, lenders, and community partner contacts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in reporting and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively across all management levels.
- Demonstrated ability to convey clear understanding of unique needs for diverse audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial business and real estate loan structure and underwriting.
- Proficiency in sales and marketing techniques to educate financial professionals and small business owners.
- Understanding of financial management principles and economic development financing methods.
- Must reside in California, Arizona, or Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Market and promote the Impower95 loan product to lenders, brokers, and community development organizations.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with external stakeholders to expand program reach.
- Collaborate with Capital Deployment teams to identify cross-marketing opportunities.
- Deliver presentations to groups and represent the organization at industry functions.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to recommend product improvements.
- Pre-screen potential borrowers and pre-qualify loan applications based on established credit guidelines.
- Enter loan structure and eligibility narratives into Ventures+ loan management software.
- Assess credit worthiness and repayment ability to ensure prospects meet criteria before underwriting.
