Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience building and shipping machine-learning models.
- Hands-on experience taking models to production (training pipeline to served endpoint and monitoring).
- Professional-grade proficiency in Python.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
- Strong foundation in production-ML systems and model lifecycle management.
- Ability to work effectively in a cloud-native environment.
- Strong technical communication skills for creating design/RFC documentation.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerized deployment, and model monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Frame complex problems, design solutions, and build/train machine-learning models.
- Develop and maintain training pipelines and package models for deployment.
- Ship models to served endpoints and monitor model performance and quality in production.
- Perform rigorous evaluations, including experimental design, statistical validation, and drift detection.
- Collaborate across the organization with Data Engineering, Backend, Product, and QA teams.
- Decide when to retrain models based on drift, performance metrics, and business impact.
