Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data operations owning production systems.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL data modeling.
- Proven experience with ETL and API integration.
- Comfort and experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
- Ability to explain technical problems to and collaborate with non-technical domain experts.
- Willingness to travel to exploration sites globally, including the Mingomba site.
- Valid passport.
- Experience with dbt, AWS/S3, or finance systems like NetSuite/Tipalti is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate new data models, ETL/API integrations, and provide application support.
- Perform platform maintenance and OPSDB stewardship, ensuring sync reliability and production support.
- Manage technical governance including RBAC, scoped roles, dbt semantic layer, and documentation.
- Provide cross-functional mentorship and coordination for functional growth areas like Procurement and Inventory.
- Support site-specific commitments registers and contribute to exploration programs.
