Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including complex global, multi-entity, or multi-functional operations.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a public company with a SOX-controlled environment.
- Demonstrated experience setting strategy and leading complex change across multiple finance sub-functions.
- Strong project and program management skills with ability to manage dependencies and drive accountability.
- Experience influencing executive-level stakeholders and managing critical external relationships.
- Hands-on approach with willingness to execute directly when process maturity or local resourcing is limited.
- Global thinker capable of balancing consistency, scalability, and local-market requirements.
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead global finance strategy and cross-functional operating models for entry into new countries and jurisdictions.
- Serve as the U.S.-based interim finance lead for new markets after legal entity incorporation.
- Design, implement, and govern global finance policies, process standards, and control frameworks.
- Represent Global Finance in critical negotiations with executive leaders, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Lead the transition from interim U.S.-based finance support to steady-state local or outsourced operating models.
- Design and lead a scalable international business review process including financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Partner with Technical Accounting, SEC Reporting, SOX, Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR/Payroll, and FP&A to resolve complex cross-functional issues.
