Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce.
- CA or CPA qualification completed or in progress.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience covering accounts payable/receivable, bank/GL reconciliations, and journals.
- Demonstrated experience completing month-end and year-end close.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of Australian GST and BAS preparation.
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of the ledger and prepare work for audit/financier requirements.
- Experience in property development or construction (desirable).
- Experience with Jobpac Connect, SunSystems, or Estate Master (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Administer Jobpac Connect project setups, budgets, cost codes, and approval workflows.
- Maintain data integrity between Jobpac Connect and SunSystems.
- Process and code supplier and subcontractor invoices, manage progress claims, and variations.
- Perform bank reconciliations, prepare journals, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare project financial reports including costs to date, forecast costs to complete, and budget variances.
- Support project cash flow forecasting, financier reporting, and drawdown claims.
- Prepare statutory reports including BAS, IAS, and TPAR.
- Assist with external audit and compliance requirements.
