Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a senior commercial role within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of independently managing strategic partner relationships with acquirers, payment processors, APMs, banks, or fraud solution providers.
- Experience in commercial negotiations with senior and C-level stakeholders.
- Evidence of revenue impact through partnerships, including revenue-share agreements or joint GTM initiatives.
- Deep experience in the Brazilian payments market, including familiarity with local acquiring, Pix, and ABECS norms.
- Strong understanding of the payments value chain, including acquiring, issuing, and scheme networks.
- Ability to operate with high autonomy to identify opportunities and convert signed deals.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to define, track, and report on partnership KPIs.
- Ability to manage multiple strategic relationships simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end relationships with a defined portfolio of North America partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring partners are engaged, enabled, and growing.
- Monitor partner health metrics and proactively address issues.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities aligned with company strategy.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, commercial terms, and SLAs.
- Drive joint go-to-market initiatives, co-marketing campaigns, and referral programs.
- Contribute to the sales pipeline through partner lead generation.
- Work with the Product team to advocate for partner requirements and prioritize integrations.
- Lead the onboarding of new partners, coordinating technical and commercial workstreams.
