Requirements
- Analytics and/or financial reporting knowledge.
- Deep knowledge in Excel and Power Point, storytelling with data.
- Outstanding expertise and hands on experience in SQL or Python.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira).
- Data visualization skills (e.g. Tableau, Excel, Power BI, Retool).
- Understanding of time-series statistical methods for outlier detection (Prophet, ARIMA, Tukeys Fences).
- Experience building end-to-end data products.
- Experience driving actionable insights from alternative data sources.
- Background in retail/e-commerce, market research, or startup analytical environments.
- Experience working with retail or consumer data.
- Experience scaling BI infrastructure to 10Tb+ data ingestion.
- Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining dimensional data models using dbt (preferred).
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, ClickHouse) (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and provide technical support to maintain excellence and drive new product development.
- Support end-to-end implementations to ensure data quality, adoption and customizations needed for customer satisfaction.
- Quarterback account teams and engineering resources to drive success for our customers.
- Execute on customer needs leveraging technical skillsets in a timely manner.
- Attain a holistic understanding of the entire technology from data aggregation to product delivery.
- Develop and scale the technology from ‘data pipelining’ to ‘innovation’, to ensure accuracy of our data.
- Develop new product lines such as local pricing, ecommerce intelligence, and supply chain analysis to drive ROI for clients.
- Leverage Data Visualization and UI/UX knowledge to increase customer adoption and ease of use.
- Collaborate with our data science, engineering, and sales teams.
- Commit to rigorous documentation of coding efforts and train incoming employees.
