Requirements
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- At least 2 years in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or a related security role.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing, administering, or engineering SIEM/XDR solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with USM Anywhere or a comparable platform (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, FortiSIEM).
- Understanding of SIEM concepts like log collection, normalization, correlation, and alerting.
- Experience developing, tuning, or troubleshooting security detections.
- Proficiency in security automation or scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or SQL.
- Foundational understanding of AWS or Azure cloud security.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, IPsec).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and optimize USM Anywhere SIEM/XDR environments.
- Configure and manage security monitoring, log collection, data sources, integrations, and agents.
- Develop, tune, and maintain detections, correlation rules, alerts, and dashboards.
- Support threat detection, investigation, and incident response operations.
- Troubleshoot complex SIEM, XDR, and networking issues as a technical escalation point.
- Develop automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and security response.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational standards.
