Requirements
- Several years of professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong depth in Postgres (JSONB, query performance, migrations).
- Full-stack experience with Next.js 15, React Query, Express, and BullMQ.
- Hands-on experience building and operating AI/LLM-powered applications in production.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, model selection, and AI evaluation practices.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure including ECS, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong debugging skills in live production systems.
- Ability to work autonomously in an undefined, high-ownership environment.
- Familiarity with AI-native development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- German language skills (B1 level or above) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end product features independently, including the user interface.
- Work across the frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI pipeline.
- Develop AI capabilities through prompt engineering, context management, and cost control.
- Operate and monitor live production environments, including debugging and performance tuning.
- Shape technical architecture, engineering standards, and the technical roadmap.
- Collaborate with the grant team to build solutions based on real user problems.
