Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science including algorithms and data structures.
- Knowledge of concurrency and systems design.
- Experience building and scaling high-traffic, high-availability backend systems.
- Experience designing and operating backend infrastructure.
- Experience with deployment automation and capacity planning.
- Experience with observability practices.
- Comfortable working across different layers of the stack from performance-critical code to production operations.
- Ability to learn new technologies and tools in a fast-moving, large-scale environment.
- Collaborative approach and contribution to an ownership-driven team culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain critical infrastructure and services that underpin the entire search platform.
- Operate foundational systems that power requests flowing through the platform at massive scale.
- Ensure performance, stability, and reliability of systems across the globe.
- Manage backend infrastructure including deployment automation and capacity planning.
- Implement observability to maintain system uptime and health.
