Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of education and professional experience in Asset Protection, loss prevention, law enforcement, or risk management.
- Minimum of five years of multi-unit, field-based Asset Protection or loss-prevention experience.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience supporting multiple locations.
- Demonstrated experience conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations.
- Strong analytical ability with experience translating data into loss-reduction strategies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using AI-enabled technology for analysis and investigative productivity.
- Proficiency with CCTV platforms, POS reporting, RFID, case-management tools, and Shopify.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Midwest and Canada, including overnight and weekend travel, up to approximately 80% of the time.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with Canadian privacy, surveillance, and workplace-safety requirements is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory shrink results and develop strategies to address external and internal theft, fraud, and operational errors.
- Conduct comprehensive risk and site-vulnerability assessments to identify deficiencies and protect assets.
- Lead internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations using data, CCTV, and interviewing techniques.
- Manage physical-security standards, systems, and third-party security providers across the region.
- Coach store teams on asset protection, workplace safety, and incident reporting.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analysis to enhance investigative efficiency and proactive decision-making.
- Coordinate incident responses to workplace violence, theft, or security emergencies.
