Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of professional JavaScript or TypeScript development across the full stack.
- Strong experience building modern, responsive front-end applications with React and/or Next.js.
- Proficiency with Node.js and server-side JavaScript frameworks such as Express or Fastify.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Strong full-stack troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and ability to validate AI-generated outputs.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust or low-level security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management, product, and design teams to shape development strategy, technical vision, and the responsible adoption of AI-powered tools and workflows.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams delivering high-impact full-stack JavaScript and TypeScript solutions.
- Contribute to modern application architectures using React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, cloud-native services, and API ecosystems.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end applications and scalable back-end services.
- Lead iterative, outcome-focused development using deep knowledge of the JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, as well as emerging AI-enabled capabilities like LLM workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their development across modern frameworks and AI-augmented development.
- Present system designs, architecture diagrams, and technical proposals to clients and stakeholders.
