- Minimum of 5+ years
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience within a mainframe environment in a large enterprise.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance including SMP/E.
- Proficiency in TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and JCL.
- Strong knowledge of Unix System Services (USS) file system management and security.
- Ability to perform moderately complex ISV installations.
- Ability to participate in an on-call schedule.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Customer service skills at a management level.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, test, configure, and implement ISV software.
- Monitor and provide on-call support for mainframe software environments.
- Perform incident, change, and problem handling.
- Manage setup of parameters and perform vendor communication.
- Contribute to technical projects and assist team members with problem resolution.
- Conduct research and evaluation of new software.
