Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
- Strong Python development experience with backend and/or full-stack applications.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure-native services and enterprise integrations.
- Experience building production applications using LLMs, including prompt engineering and model integration.
- Hands-on RAG experience, including vector search, retrieval patterns, knowledge grounding, and evaluation.
- Experience integrating external APIs, enterprise platforms, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong database and SQL experience.
- Strong understanding of APIs, application architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to take ambiguous business problems from concept through production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production AI applications using Python and Azure.
- Build LLM-powered applications using prompt engineering, model integrations, tool calling, and AI workflows.
- Design and implement RAG solutions using embeddings, vector search, retrieval, knowledge grounding, and evaluation.
- Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms, external APIs, databases, and Microsoft 365.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, data models, and application integrations.
- Develop agentic AI workflows using tools such as MCP and multi-agent patterns where appropriate.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into production solutions.
- Apply strong engineering practices around testing, security, observability, scalability, and performance.
