Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in public affairs, policy communications, or strategic communications.
- Significant experience within complex, high-visibility, politically sensitive environments.
- Experience supporting state or federal legislative or regulatory initiatives.
- Strong background in designing and executing integrated campaigns.
- Proven ability to lead cross-program or cross-organizational strategy in matrixed settings.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex content into compelling narratives.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to align publication releases with strategic messaging.
- Strong rapid response and crisis communications experience.
- Goal- and metric-oriented mindset with experience using data to measure impact.
- Executive presence and ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to travel 4 to 7 times per year.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Single-Threaded EaR Leader for Public Affairs.
- Lead Integrated Policy and Research Communications Strategy.
- Orchestrate the EaR Studio Model to align domain experts with program needs.
- Leverage Intelligence and Foresight to anticipate risks and strengthen impact.
- Drive Execution, Measurement, and Reporting across all priority initiatives.
