Requirements
- 5+ years of software/data engineering experience.
- Expert hands-on practice in Python and SQL.
- Track record of taking ownership in high-stakes situations with demonstrated urgency.
- Experience rapidly integrating new technologies to drive business outcomes.
- Proven design and implementation experience for complex, large-scale data engineering challenges.
- Deep experience in database design, warehouse data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Ability to communicate intricate technical details to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Kafka, and Amplitude is preferred.
- Predictive modeling and machine learning experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Design efficient architectural recommendations and implement them in a reliable manner.
- Improve, oversee, and coach standards for code and infrastructure maintainability through documentation and peer review.
- Collaborate with analytics, business intelligence, finance, sales, marketing, and product teams to identify business data needs.
- Champion and ensure data governance is a core component of engineering workflows.
- Evolve and scale the data platform to support business growth and system stability.
