Requirements
- Strong SQL and relational database expertise, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries.
- Experience building Power BI Paginated Reports (RDL).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Report Server, Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded.
- Proven experience embedding reports into client-facing applications, including authentication and REST API-driven token handling.
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting solutions in production environments.
- Ability to trace and troubleshoot issues across application-to-report boundaries.
- Proactive tracking of changes in the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain paginated reports (RDL) and reporting solutions across Power BI Report Server, Power BI Service, and legacy Crystal Reports.
- Manage end-to-end report and embedded analytics connectivity, including authentication flows and parameter passing.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and application workloads.
- Support Python-based tooling for data pipelines and analytics workflows, including operationalizing model outputs.
- Automate report generation, scheduling, and delivery.
- Build monitoring for reporting data and queries, including quality checks and anomaly detection.
- Improve report and query performance through instrumentation and benchmarking.
