Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years of project finance transaction experience at a developer, investment bank, lender, or investor; OR a finance/technical degree from a rigorous program with completed financial modeling training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with project financial modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a geographically dispersed team.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage large projects with multiple stakeholders on tight timelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively across different seniority levels.
- Ability to learn and take on responsibility quickly.
- Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of debt and tax equity financing transactions, including preparation of marketing materials, due diligence, and financial modeling.
- Manage project financial models throughout the lifecycle, including development, construction, and operations.
- Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and analytics for senior management and corporate investors.
- Analyze macroeconomic and ISO-level trends, interest rate environments, and tax law impacts on project viability.
- Collaborate with internal teams on economic analysis, PPA pricing, project design optimization, and contract negotiation.
