Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Architectural Engineering, Building Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong research or industry experience involving building systems, structural systems, energy performance, or building design.
- Strong quantitative and technical problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of building physics and integrated building systems.
- Ability to design original, difficult problems that mirror real architectural engineering workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Design advanced architectural engineering problems for frontier AI training and evaluation.
- Create deterministic problems with exactly one correct answer.
- Write complete, verified solutions and clearly document the reasoning process.
- Develop problems involving building systems, structural design, HVAC, lighting, acoustics, energy performance, or building physics.
- Create scenarios requiring integration across architectural and engineering constraints.
- Use computational modeling, BIM, energy simulation, or engineering tools to validate solutions where relevant.
- Ensure all outputs are technically precise, reproducible, and well-written in English.
