Requirements
- 3+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- Professional experience with Go, including owning services end-to-end.
- Experience with distributed systems or microservices.
- Experience designing APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protocol Buffers).
- Experience using Docker for local development.
- Experience with CI/CD as a standard practice.
- Demonstrated day-to-day fluency using AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT).
- Ability to contribute to architectural design and mentor team members.
- Strong technical debugging and production support skills.
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical partners.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale Go services powering agent quoting, configuration, and application-submission tools.
- Partner closely with App and Checkout teams to manage technical dependencies.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and provide guidance within the team.
- Resolve partner-specific edge cases as distribution volume scales.
- Write unit and integration tests and perform peer code reviews.
- Leverage AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) as a core part of the daily workflow.
- Support knowledge transfer through pairing and documentation for a team with a high contractor ratio.
- Improve automation and CI/CD practices across the team.
