Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of product management experience with cloud-based SaaS products.
- Deep familiarity with database systems, distributed systems, or real-time analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Understanding of query execution, indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with databases such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Knowledge of modern data infrastructure, including data lakes, ETL pipelines, CDC, and data orchestration.
- Ability to work with engineering on low-level technical topics like schema management and query planning.
- Experience designing features for database replication, consistency models, and backup/restore workflows.
- Strong leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product roadmap for ClickHouse Cloud, focusing on multi-region replication, distributed query execution, fault tolerance, and storage tiering.
- Collaborate with engineering to prioritize and deliver improvements to the core database engine, storage layer, and query optimizer.
- Engage with customers to gather insights through feedback and market research to guide product decisions.
- Work alongside design, marketing, operations, and sales teams to support feature launches and shape product positioning.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success.
- Manage product-related communications and stakeholder expectations.
