Requirements
- 6+ years of experience selling technical infrastructure (databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or developer tooling) to enterprise buyers.
- Proven track record of closing complex deals involving security reviews, legal processes, and procurement.
- Technical fluency sufficient to lead architectural conversations.
- Experience managing hybrid quotas including new business, expansion, and renewals.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-metered commercial models.
- Ability to execute both bottom-up (developer-led) and top-down sales strategies.
- Skilled in orchestrating cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects, partners, and product managers.
- Proficiency in accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain CRM data in Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through security review, procurement, and contract close.
- Drive expansion by identifying new teams and use cases within existing accounts.
- Own account renewals and consumption commitments, monitoring usage trends to mitigate churn.
- Execute commercial strategy and deal closing while partnering with Solutions Architects on technical evaluations.
- Navigate procurement workflows including security questionnaires, legal redlines, and vendor onboarding.
- Develop and present internal business cases, including TCO comparisons and migration plans.
- Maintain accurate records and forecasts in Salesforce.
- Engage with the developer community through meetups, conferences, and industry events.
