Requirements
- MBA or Master’s Degree in a field relevant to the health care industry.
- Current and unencumbered APP licensure (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
- Current and unencumbered Florida licensure (if practicing clinically).
- Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification.
- 10-12 years of health care experience.
- Experience as an APP in community oncology strongly preferred.
- 2 years of managerial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of organizational design and business pro-forma development.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel at least 30-40% for site visits and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop overarching APP Services strategy and identify operational/strategic initiatives.
- Support recruitment strategies to meet practice needs for new Advanced Practice Providers.
- Build infrastructure that supports APPs and clinical efficiency.
- Define and implement project management for fiscal year initiatives.
- Manage people-related responsibilities, including setting performance objectives and reviews.
- Educate company leadership on evolving trends impacting APP services.
- Collaborate on APP-specific policy and procedure development.
- Perform clinical patient care in clinic or via telemedicine for up to 20% of time.
