Requirements
- 5+ years of quota-carrying federal sales experience, with a record of growing Department of War / DoD accounts.
- Deep working knowledge of DoW mission organizations, acquisition programs, and federal contracting mechanisms.
- Consistent quota attainment in a broad, complex, and competitive market.
- Formal sales methodology training and practical application of structured qualification and negotiation.
- Enterprise security software sales experience (cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or attack surface management preferred).
- Proven ability to build direct customer relationships and channel/integrator relationships in parallel.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills suitable for technical and program-level conversations.
- Strong command of Salesforce and sales intelligence/engagement tooling.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and partner engagements (approximately 20%).
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a territory plan for Department of War named accounts, mapping mission owners, programs, and funding lines.
- Generate pipeline through cold outreach, mission events, and partner-led motions.
- Qualify opportunities by establishing mission requirements, funding, and decision authority.
- Drive a rigorous sales process, including multi-threading across operators and contracting shops.
- Navigate federal procurement mechanisms such as GSA, OTAs, and year-end funding cycles.
- Direct extended teams including Sales Engineering, SDR, and Channel resources.
- Convert initial footholds into enterprise-wide programs through executive alignment.
