Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing or developing technical solutions for customer adoption, implementations, or integrations.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including authentication, requests, responses, pagination, error handling, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data models, data transformation, JSON, API payloads, and field mappings.
- Practical knowledge of integration concepts like scheduled polling, webhooks, retries, data integrity, and monitoring.
- Experience working with an iPaaS platform such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, or Tray.io.
- Experience integrating ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or Dynamics 365.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude for development and documentation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and troubleshoot integrations between customer systems and the platform including ERPs, banks, and APIs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate approved business and accounting workflows into scalable technical integration designs.
- Lead technical discovery around ERP capabilities, APIs, authentication, and data availability.
- Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements, explain architecture, and recommend integration approaches.
- Define data mappings, transformations, synchronization schedules, and error-handling requirements.
- Own the technical integration workstream from initial design through internal testing, UAT, and production deployment.
- Create technical documentation, solution blueprints, and integration specifications.
- Monitor and support live integrations, troubleshooting transaction failures and implementing fixes.
- Identify recurring patterns and opportunities to improve APIs and integration frameworks to reduce custom development.
