Requirements
- Strong general computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with game design principles, specifically MMOs and group content
- Understanding of numbers and mathematics as they relate to game balance
- Avid gamer with experience in live service games
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to creatively solve problems
- Scripting or coding experience in languages such as Python, Perl, or C# (Desired)
- Experience with version control software such as Perforce (Desired)
- Experience playing MMOs (Desired)
- Familiarity with the works of J.R.R. Tolkien (Desired)
- A mature, professional attitude and work ethic (Desired)
Responsibilities
- Work on compelling systems for a massively multiplayer game
- Support the design team in improving current systems and delivering new ones
- Collaborate with and learn from an internal team of world builders, artists, and designers
- Learn proprietary tools quickly and work within a complex pipeline
