Requirements

Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience within a grant writing firm.
Minimum 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (AR/AP, general ledger, financial statements).
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Analytics.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Working knowledge of Monday.com for task management.
Experience using Claude or similar AI applications for workflow support.
Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Professional written and verbal English communication skills.
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential financial data.

Responsibilities

Perform regular reconciliations for bank, credit card, and shareholder accounts in Zoho Books.
Prepare Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Statements of Cash Flows within 5 business days of month close.
Generate, issue, and collect client invoices to minimize outstanding balances.
Schedule and process vendor and supplier payments according to contractual terms.
Process internal employee payroll and payments to external contractors.
Monitor financial metrics and grant reporting data using Zoho Analytics, Google Sheets, and Excel.
Review operational expenditures to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Utilize AI tools like Claude and Monday.com to enhance operational workflows.
