Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in packaging production design (CPG, beauty, or fragrance preferred).
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong typography skills, including hierarchy, legibility, and grid systems.
- In-depth knowledge of prepress and print production (Pantone, CMYK, foils, embossing, dielines, substrates).
- Strong attention to detail for managing complex versions and specifications.
- Professional English fluency.
- Experience with PowerPoint for presentation deck preparation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Build accurate mechanical files from approved creative direction, ensuring compliance with dielines, bleeds, and print specifications.
- Create and update copy-heavy packaging files while maintaining visual consistency.
- Prepare vendor-ready artwork, including CMYK, spot-color builds, trapping, and varnish/foil plate separations.
- Develop fragrance collection graphics and typography with a focus on mass-retail requirements.
- Translate creative direction into scalable SKUs and line extensions across various formats and substrates.
- Preflight and quality-control production files, managing revisions and version control.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve manufacturability issues and manage production checklists.
- Ensure compliance with retailer guidelines and regulatory labeling standards, including barcodes and claims.
