Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in production-grade applications.
- 2+ years of people management experience leading and coaching software engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on coding experience with Java, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL.
- Experience building and supporting cloud-based applications and modern software architectures.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience leading Agile software development teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to balance technical considerations, business priorities, and delivery requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (preferred).
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies (preferred).
- Experience with AI-powered applications and automation (preferred).
- Access to reliable high-speed internet (cable or fiber) for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, feedback, and career development support.
- Establish and drive effective Agile development practices, delivery standards, and engineering processes.
- Partner with Product, Operations, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Participate actively in software architecture and technical design decisions to shape scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Contribute directly to software development and technical problem-solving as a player-coach.
- Ensure applications meet standards for code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Lead sprint planning, capacity planning, and technical roadmap development.
