Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting experience within a CPA firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong hands-on tax planning and preparation skills.
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA is preferred.
- Prior experience working with dental or healthcare clients is preferred.
- Experience with UltraTax is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a self-driven, remote environment.
- Client-facing experience and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of 30 to 40 clients.
- Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic business insights.
- Oversee general ledger activity, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
- Facilitate the tax compliance process by preparing returns and providing clean financials to the tax department.
- Review transactional work and ensure monthly accounting activities stay on schedule.
