Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health sciences, biomedical engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant structural heart or interventional cardiology experience.
- Significant TAVR procedural support experience.
- Proven people-management experience with responsibility for coaching and performance management.
- Strong expertise in cath lab and/or hybrid OR clinical environments.
- Deep knowledge of TAVR patient evaluation, CT/echo imaging, and procedural planning.
- Ability to travel up to 70% for site engagement and case support.
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills in high-acuity environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Clinical Specialist team to ensure strong performance and technical competence.
- Oversee onboarding, certification, and competency assessment in procedural support, imaging, and trial protocols.
- Conduct field visits and case observations to assess performance and identify coaching needs.
- Monitor field clinical support across assigned North American trial sites to ensure procedural consistency.
- Partner with Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs to track site activity, enrollment, and protocol adherence.
- Manage field escalations and site needs while providing hands-on case coverage when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop field strategies, resource plans, and investigator training programs.
