Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with employee lifecycle exposure.
  • Proven background in independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and investigations.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex local employment laws and industrial instruments.
  • Superior communication, influencing, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to adapt to new systems and collaborate asynchronously.
  • Demonstrated automation and AI capabilities and fluency.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Provide expert guidance on termination, resignation, transfer procedures, and redundancy processes.
  • Lead client and employee meetings, including workforce reduction consultations and settlement negotiations.
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders (payroll, legal, unions) to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and provide ER resource guidance.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and product development within the lifecycle function.
  • Mentor junior team members and act as a first point of informal escalation.
