Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies.
  • Strong background in independently managing voluntary and involuntary employee exits.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and progressive discipline approaches.
  • Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international team.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and collaborate asynchronously.
  • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on terminations, resignations, transfers, and redundancy processes.
  • Lead and facilitate high-stakes meetings, including workforce reduction consultations and administrative hearings.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and guide clients on progressive discipline and best practices.
  • Draft and administer all required termination and legal documentation with strict adherence to privacy.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Payroll, and Customer Success to ensure compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and optimize offboarding and employee relations processes.
